Engineering Firm: Schaumburg & Polk, Inc.
Contract Amount: $16 Million
The City of Mabank is undertaking a comprehensive upgrade to its Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Raw Water Pump Station (RWPS) to improve reliability, expand capacity, and enhance operational efficiency. The project involves rehabilitation and replacement of key pumping, electrical, and structural systems, installation of standby power, and associated site improvements.
Work includes upgrades to the raw water intake infrastructure—such as pumps, piping, and electrical components—along with major enhancements at the Raw Water Pump Station. These improvements feature new vertical turbine pumps, a vacuum priming system, a precast concrete electrical building, and other critical systems and site upgrades.
