The Paris Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements project delivers an upgrade to the city’s wastewater system, with ma jor work occurring at both the FEB site and the main treatment plant. At the FEB site, the project modernizes preliminary treatment through improvements at the screening chamber and new headwork and influent pumping facilities, large diameter yard piping, and new concrete structures that sup port improved flow handling.
At the main WWTP site, the project expands solids manage ment capacity, upgrades key treatment processes, and replac es aging facilities with new, more efficient infrastructure. Work includes new structures including an Admin building and Sludge Holding Tanks, new process equipment installations, and targeted rehabilitation of existing treatment structures to extend their service life.
Together, these upgrades improve flow handling, solids treat ment, and overall plant performance, ensuring the City of Paris is ready for future needs
